BETHEL — Carter’s XC Ski Center is hosting a 2-3 mile round-trip hike up Farwell Mountain from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 29 as part of the Great Outdoor Maine Weekend.
The hike will be a free guided hike to see the new ski trails, the views of the Presidentials, Mahoosucs, Carter Moriahs, Mt. Will, Sunday River, and the fall foliage.
Hikers should wear appropriate shoes and bring water. Granola bars will be provided. Fat bikes are also available to rent.
