WATERVILLE — Cirque du Geek 2018 will take place at the Waterville Public Library Sept. 7 through 9. This year’s theme is “Lost at Sea.”
Cirque du Geek is a small convention hosted at the Waterville Public Library, 73 Elm St. Over the course of the weekend, Cirque du Geek will offer events dedicated to cosplay, video games, anime, comic books and all things geek!
Events include a cosplay contest, parade, video game room, tutorials, and a wide variety of panels hosted by guests and volunteers.
Cirque du Geek highlights include:
* Cosplay Dance Party at the Waterville Opera House (8 p.m. Sept. 7)
* Cosplay Contest (2 p.m. Sept. 8)
* Controller Throwers Live (18 and older, 8 p.m. Sept. 8)
* Creating Comics Characters with artist Tyson Pease (1 p.m. Sept. 9)
Registration is free. Events are open to all ages unless otherwise noted.
