Library offers teen activities for vacation week

WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library has announced some fun things to keep teens busy during February vacation.

Cardboard Square Building Challenge from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 21: Use your imagination and cardboard to create unique sculptures. The possibilities are endless!

Bookend Painting — Decorate Your Library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 22: Personalize your library! Join us in the Bartlett Room for Teens and help make it a more colorful place. Design a bookend based on your favorite book or fandom. After they’re painted, the bookends will return to holding up books on the teen room shelves with a lot more style!

Duct Tape Crafts from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 23: What can you create with duct tape? The possibilities are endless! Come to the library and learn how to make wallets, bow ties and more.

Marble Maze Madness from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 24: Work in teams or on your own to create an amazing marble maze out of recycled materials.
