Rumford town manager talks to Rotarians about downtown upgrades

Rumford Town Manager Linda J Briggs, right, gave a presentation to the River Valley Rotary Club March 19 on the upcoming downtown upgrades. The project includes replacement of the sewer and water pipe systems, which are more than 100 years old. The upgrades are hoped to entice new businesses to downtown area as well help keep the current ones there, Briggs told the Rotarians.
