Waterville Battle of the Badges is March 8

WATERVILLE — The Battle of the Badges basketball game between the Waterville Fire Department and the Waterville Police Department is slated for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Alfond Youth Center. The game begins at 7 p.m.
It’s the 10th year the game has been played.

Tickets are $5 and children under 10 are admitted free. Tickets can be bought in advance by calling 207-873-5621 or at the door on game night. All proceeds benefit the South End Teen Center, a satellite center of the Waterville Area Boys and Girls Club and a program of the Kennebec Valley Community Action Program. There will be half-time entertainment and the Teen Center members will be making baked goods to sell at the event.
