Poet Blanco to hold workshop at Waterville Public Library March 13

WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library, 73 Elm St., will host a workshop, “Poetry and Our Deeper Selves” featuring poet Richard Blanco, from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 13.
Lunder Institute artist-in-residence Richard Blanco will explore with participants how the reading and writing of poetry “connects us to our deeper selves and our emotional wounds.”

Blanco, of Bethel, was the poet at President Barack Obama’s 2013 inauguration.
The workshop is free and open to the public. Space is limited, and registration is required.
