WATERVILLE — Central Maine’s largest trade show, Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce’s Business to Business Showcase, will be held from 12 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at the Colby College Field House. Exhibitor registration is now open with approximately 140 businesses and organizations expected to participate.
The 2017 Business to Business Showcase marks the event’s fifth year at its current location and is the largest event of its kind between Portland and Bangor. Organizers expect several thousand attendees throughout the day.
“If you are looking to get the word out about your business and network with other professionals, the Business to Business Showcase is really an unmatched opportunity for our region,” said Kim Lindlof, president & CEO of Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce. “The event grows each year, but exhibitors also return year after year, because they find that it is valuable marketing and networking for their businesses.”
“Ever since we joined the chamber in 2009,” David Johnson, owner of Kennebec Electric & Lighting, said, “we have been an exhibitor at the Business to Business Showcase. We have met numerous new friends and business contacts that use our services frequently. We enjoy showing off our new products each year at the showcase meeting more new people each year.”
Exhibitors at the annual event are as diverse as the local chamber’s membership, with both large and small businesses from a variety of sectors participating. The booth fee is just $199, considerably lower than comparable trade shows, to ensure the event is accessible to a range of businesses and nonprofits.
