AUGUSTA – The Rev. Mark Tanner, of Skowhegan, served as the Pastor of the Day for the Maine Senate, delivering the opening prayer Jan. 18.
During his visit to the State House, Tanner met with Sen. Rod Whittemore, R-Somerset, and Rep. Brad Farrin, R-Norridgewock.
Tanner serves the congregation at the Skowhegan Federated Church.
“It was a pleasure to have Reverend Tanner join us in Augusta to begin our day’s work with a special prayer,” said Whittemore.
“Thanks to Reverend Tanner for taking the time to share a prayer with my Senate colleagues,” said Farrin. “It’s always a pleasure to see a familiar face in the halls of the State House.”
