Family Code Night to be held in Winslow Jan. 12

WINSLOW — Winslow Elementary School and Winslow Public Library are joining to sponsor “Family Code Night,” a free event at which children and their parents can learn computer coding together.
The event is for kindergarten through fifth-grade students, and is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at Winslow Elementary School Commons, 285 Benton Ave.

The family-engaging evening event is being offered at elementary schools around the country in support of the national Computer Science for All movement, according to a news release.
