Waterville Public Library schedule will keep teens, kids busy in January

WATERVILLE — The Waterville Public Library has plenty schedule to keep kids busy in January, including teen game night and, for the younger kids, crafternoons.
Game night will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Mondays in the teen room. There are three scheduled for the month: Jan. 8, 22 and 29.

There are board games available, as well as games for the library’s Wii and PS3. Settlers of Catan, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Apples to Apples, Exploding Kittens, Munchkin, Fluxx, Monopoly, Jenga and more.

The program is free and open to attendees ages 11-18. Light refreshments will be provided.

Crafternoons are for younger kids, and take place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays in the Children’s Room.

Children under 7 must be accompanied by a grown-up helper.

Crafts in January include Paper Plate Flying Saucers, Jan. 2; Make Your Own Aliens, Jan. 9; Hand-print and Inkblot Aliens, Jan. 16; Tin Can Robots, Jan. 23; Galaxy in a Jar, Jan. 30.
