Dixfield Discount Fuel will be at the Rumford Festival of Trees at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, after the parade, to collect toys for its annual toy drive.
Katie Houghton and Melissa McDonld of the fuel company will set up a table to collect toys.
“We wanted to collect toys for this cause while our community was out and about with the parade they could bring a toy as well,” Houhton said in a news release.
She said that they are looking to collect as many toys as they can this year. The toys will be donated to Meraboy Elementary School in Mexico. The drive donates to a different area school each year.
