Family contradance is Dec. 9 in Farmington

FARMINGTON — The monthly family contradance will be held deom 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Farmington Grange, 124 Bridge St., West Farmington.

Admission is $2 per adult and $1 per child, with potluck snacks served from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

A regular contradance, accompanied by the Franklin County Fiddlers and John McIntire calling, runs from 8 to 10:30 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults; $5 for students; $15 for a family.

All dances are taught, and beginners are welcome — no partner required.
