Norridgewock absentee ballots available until Nov. 2

NORRIDGEWOCK — Absentee ballots are available until Thursday, Nov. 2, for those who can’t make it to the polls on Nov. 7 at the Town Office.
Those who would like to request an absentee ballot can contact the registrar of voters during normal Town Office hours, and until 7 p.m. on Nov. 2. The town office opens at 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and is open until 4:15 p.m., with the exception of Thursday, when it closes at 6 p.m.

Voting on Tuesday, Nov. 7, will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Mill Stream Elementary School, 26 Mercer Road. A guide to referendum questions is available at the Town Office.
In other Town Office news, 2018 dog licenses became available on Oct. 16. The cost is $6 per altered (spayed/neutered) dog and $11 per unaltered dog. Kennel licenses are $42. In order to license a dog, owners must provide evidence of current rabies vaccination. Licenses are due Dec. 31, and a $25.00 late fee per unlicensed dog will begin Feb. 1.
