DIXFIELD — A Disaster Action Team from the American Red Cross of Maine worked with a family of four on Oct. 10 to ensure that they had food, a safe place to sleep and other essentials after their house was damaged in a single-family home fire that broke out the previous day.
Following the fire, the Red Cross remained in contact with them to provide financial assistance and community referrals as they began to make their road to recovery.
