WATERVILLE — The Two Cent Talks literary series will hold its fall reading, with authors Monica Wood and Stuart Kestenbaum, at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 at the Redington Museum, Silver Street.
The series, sponsored by Colby College, will also host Jeffery Thompson and Justin Tussing on March 25.
Wood is the author of the memoir “When We Were the Kennedys,” about growing up in Mexico, Maine. She also has authored the novels “The One in a Million Boy,” “Any Bitter Thing,” “Ernie’s Ark,” “My Only Story” and “Secret Language.”
Her recent play, “Papermaker,” debuted at the Portland Stage Co. in an extended run, and was the company’s bestselling play ever, according to a news release from Two Cent Series organizers.
Kestenbaum is the author of four collections of poems, “Pilgrimage,” “House of Thanksgiving,” “Prayers and Run-on Sentences” and “Only Now,” as well as a collection of essays, “The View From Here.” He was poet laureate of Maine in 2016, and directed the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle for 27 years.
