WATERVILLE — Hathaway Mill Antiques will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 23, and Sunday, Sept. 34, in the historic former Hathaway shirt factory at 10 Water St.
The event at the new antique mall, sister to Cabot Mill Antiques in Brunswick, will include refreshments, entertainment, prizes, and gift certificates.
Hathaway Mill Antiques features a 10,000-square-foot showroom with more than 40 antiques dealers who sell an array of period furniture, mid-century modern furnishings, china, paintings, art works, silver, jewelry, early painted country primitives, nautical, country store advertising, ephemera, books and so much more.
Featured guests at the grand opening include Cindy Gervais, who will present a chalk paint application demonstration from 11 a.m. to noon on Sept. 23, and Eric Hooglund, who will discuss the history of Waterville before 1965, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 24.
