TURNER — The Christmas season will officially get underway on Tuesday, Dec. 6, with the annual lighting of the Christmas tree, a visit from Santa Claus, and music and treats the entire family will enjoy.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Office with music and entertainment in the parking lot. Santa will make his
arrival by firetruck and, with help from the children, light the town’s official Christmas tree.
Santa will then lead the children (and their parents) into the Town Office so they can tell him what they’d like for Christmas.
Gifts for the children and treats for all will be provided.
The town greatly appreciates this year’s event sponsors, which include Androscoggin Bank, Community Credit Union, Food
City, Hannaford, Paris Farmers Union and Ricker Hill Orchards.
