SOLON — Kathleen Ann (Lunt) Bernier, 53, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, at her home with her daughter by her side.
She was born May 1, 1963, in Portland, the daughter of Richard Francis and Suzanne Marie (Berube) Lunt. She was educated in Westbrook and graduated from Westbrook High School in 1982.
She was employed as a kitchen aide at Maplecrest Rehabilitation Center in Madison from 2013 to 2015, CRMA and PSP at Mac Residential from 2013 to 2015 and direct care worker at Spurwink Services from 1998 to 2013.
Kathy enjoyed sewing, gardening, camping, playing board and card games, baking and spending time with her granddaughters and daughter.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Cristi A. Dickey of Solon; two granddaughters, Alexis A. and Laci A. Dickey, both of Solon; Brooke M. Dickey; two brothers, Brian Thayer of Westbook, and Ken Lunt and wife, Julie, of Westbrook; nephew, Lucas Lunt of Westbrook; and two nieces, Abigayle and Eleanor Lunt, both of Westbrook.
