Maine Reptile Expo is Aug. 25 in Lewiston

LEWISTON — The Maine Herpetological Society Reptile Expo will be held Sunday, Aug. 25, the first time ever it will be held in Lewiston.
The expo will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center, 490 Pleasant St.
Featured this year will be Mr. Drew and His Animals Too, with a new feature, Mr. Drew’s Kid Zone. There will also be free face painting, tattoos, coloring sheets, popcorn and more. Those attending will be able to see, touch and learn about Mr. Drew’s animals
There will also be photo opportunities, including with Artemis, the 9-foot boa constrictor.
There will be more than 50 vendors selling captive bred reptiles, supplies, reptile vets, rescues and more. There will be more than 1,000 reptiles to see.
Admission is $7 per person and children under 12 are admitted free.
