Production crew for LIttle Theatre’s ‘Young Frankenstein’ announced

AUBURN — Director Chris Hodgkin has announced his crew for the upcoming Community Little Theatre production of the musical comedy “Young Frankenstein.”

In the award-winning Mel Brooks musical, Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced “Fronk-en-steen”) grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced “Eye-gore”), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced… Inga), Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. “It’s alive!” he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather’s. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and musical hilarity abounds.
The crew includes Sophie Wood, production assistant and spotlight operator; Jim McKinley, specialty props; Cody Watson, assistant director; Renee Davis, makeup; and Mackenzie Richard, hair and wigs; Michelle Washburn, lights; Marissa Lussier, sound; Jen Rombalski, props; Ashley Hodgkin, costumes; and Celeste Philippon, producer.
“Young Frankenstein” will be performed on Aug. 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18 at 8 p.m. and on Aug. 12 and 19 at 2 p.m. at Great Falls Performing Arts Center on Academy Street. More information is available online at www.laclt.com.
