OXFORD — During July, Hannaford supermarket will award the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine a $1 donation for every reuseable shopping bag sold at Hannaford in Oxford.
Store patrons will find the shopping bags displayed at the front of the store.
This is the second monthly award granted in 2018 to the center from Hannaford’s program — bags4acause. The center provides free support and resources to anyone affected by cancer.
The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine is located at 199 Main St, Norway in the Stephens Memorial Hospital Specialty Clinic building. The center is open Tuesdays 3 to 7 p.m. and Thursdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m, offering a variety of programs as well as comfort items, free to anyone impacted by cancer.
