TURNER — Music for Mavis will continue Tuesdays at the gazebo throughout the month of July.
Ed DesJardins and Karen Biser as Bel Sole will perform July 24, and the Brad Hooper Duo will perform July 31; both concerts will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Desjardis and Biser combine two acoustic guitars and a rare vocal chemistry that weaves two voices into one; Bel Sole will play original songs and some favorite covers.
Brad Hooper and Rusty Wiltjer, as Earth & Wood, met for the first time at an open mic at Tucker’s Music Pub in 2010. They have performed together professionally since that first meeting, blending voca styling with rhythmic percussion.
While at the concert, patrons can expect a pass the hat opportunity to pay the musicians; suggested donations are $5.
The gazebo is on the lawn in front of the Leavitt Institute, 98 Matthews Way.
