AUGUSTA — The Maine Department of Education will no longer offer walk-in hours for teachers seeking credential services, beginning Monday, July 9.
The department said the change of police will help meet its goal of ensuring accurate and efficient educator credentialing, as well as increase productivity and better serve the tens of thousands of educators in the state.
Applicants will be required to manage their Maine teacher credentials electronically by visiting www.mymainecertification.com/SSO_PROD/Signin.aspx the department said in a news release.
