Author to talk about Continental Divide Trail hike at Oakland Library

OAKLAND — Author Thomas Jamrog will be at the Oakland Public Library to discuss his five months hiking the Continental Divide Trail.
Jamrog, of Lincolnville, will speak at the library at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the library, 18 Church St.

The 2,500-mile trail is considered one of the toughest long-distance hikes in the world. It starts in Mexico and travels along the spine of the Rockies into Canada. The presentation will draw on images of stories from his newly released book, which will be available for purchase at the talk.
