Turner Public Library starts summer with ‘Walk on the Wild Side’

TURNER — Turner Public Library’s summer programming begins with a nature walk 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at Androscoggin Riverlands State Park.
Walkers will meet at the park entrance off Center Bridge Road.

Two members of the Stanton Bird Club from Lewiston, including a master naturalist, will guide the tour. The event is family friendly and free of charge.
Other activities include:
* Dungeons and Dragons game night, 6 p.m. Thursday, May 31.
* Family Board Game Night, 6 p.m. Thursday, June 8.
* Summer Reading Program begins Monday, June 18, and runs through Friday, Aug. 24, open to participants in grades Pre-K through 12.
* “The Way Life Should Be” photo/video contest. All entries for both photos and videos and due no later than 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17.
