WATERVILLE — New Dimensions Federal Credit Union will officially welcome members of Taconnet Federal Credit Union April 1.
With the merger complete, they will continue to grow living by the “People Helping People” mentality their members have come to know over the years.
Though there is always a transition period when merging two great financial institutions, they have always been committed to exceptional member service. Over the past year, they were able to expand their financial literacy program by providing members with free financial tools and resources through seminars and one-on-one consultations. Between New Dimensions’ strong financial statement and record asset size gained in 2017, it became apparent to management the credit union was in a position to expand. In response to that growth, they have purchased a piece of land on Silver Street, on which they will begin constructing a new facility providing better visibility and access to the community. The new building will be slightly smaller than their current Grove Street location, as it will house the teller line and loan departments.
