AVON — The annual children’s Christmas shopping day for the Phillips, Avon and Madrid area will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday Dec. 2, at Avon Townhouse, 1116 Rangeley Road, sponsored by Phillips Community Church.
Children should bring a list of the people and ages (or relationship) in their immediate family, and Santa’s elves will assist them in shopping.
Parents should be prepared to wait, since all the gifts will be wrapped for the child.
Each gift is 25 cents. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for pictures with the child, and parents are reminded to bring a camera as well.
