EAST SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner has a variety of holiday services and events on tap for the next month.
The church will host a soup and salad supper at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 22, followed by a Thanksgiving eve service at 7 p.m.
The church is at 50 Main St., (Route 219).
The church will host a community supper at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at the church.
The supper will feature casseroles, salads, breads, dessert, coffee and punch, as well as a raffle of baked goods and household items. Proceeds benefit the outreach mission of the church. Donations are accepted for the meal.
Also on Dec. 2, the church will have a raffle table at the Holiday Craft Fair at Buckfield Jr/Sr High School on Route 140. The fair is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds also beefit the outreach mission of the Church. For more information, call Janet at 207-388-2609
On Sunday, Dec. 24, the church will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service, beginning at 7 p.m.
