MCF to hold free grantwriting workshops for nonprofits in Farmington, Fairfield

ELLSWORTH — The Maine Community Foundation will hold grantwriting workshops for nonprofits in Farmington and Fairfield on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

The Farmington session will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the University of Maine, Student Center Room CR123, 111 South St.

The Fairfield session will be 3 to 5 p.m. at Kennebec Valley Community College, King 245, 92 Western Ave.
The snow date will be Friday, Dec. 1.

The session will include general information about Maine Community Foundation grant programs, tips to write a strong grant application and an opportunity to ask questions. MaineCF staff will review the foundation’s Community Building Grant program, which has an upcoming deadline of Feb. 15.
