AUGUSTA — Asher Wismer’s first novel, “The Sungrown: Wings,” has been published by Wild Wolf Publishing.
Wismer was raised in North Wayne and lives in Augusta. His short fiction has been published in anthologies from Wild Wolf, Fox Spirit and Cohesion Press. “The Sungrown: Wings,” his first novel, is set in the distant future, long after an environmental cataclysm has altered Earth’s inhabitants, humans especially – some of whom have wings and other mutations.
It is a book of quests and discovery, romance & adventure, inspired by the classic sci-fi stories of his youth. Wismer’s father, Don Wismer, is also a published author of science and fantasy fiction.
