Turner’s Music for Mavis Tuesdays at the gazebo to run until Sept. 12

TURNER — Music for Mavis, Tuesdays at the gazebo in front of the Turner Public Library has started and will continue through Sept. 12.

The lineup will include a variety of music, including blue grass, to country, swing, jazz, Acadian and rock and roll.

Concerts are from 6:30 to 8 p.m., rain or shine, with the exception of September’s two shows, which begin at 6 p.m. In the event of rain, the concert will be in the community room, under the library.

Suggested donation when the hat is passed is $5. Musicians are paid through the donations, there is no town funding.
